Support Engineer

Our client is looking to recruit an additional Teamcenter Support Engineer to become part of
an established team.. This would be an ideal position for a person looking to move into a 2nd line support position
Key tasks will be
• CAD / Teamcenter Support service for Design and Manufacturing Environment – including logging and progressing support calls
• Assist in the preparation and execution of test plans for the applications being supported
• Evaluate and identify solutions to technical issues on supported applications
• Prepare and deliver high quality demonstrations to users
Education:
• Degree or Apprenticeship in a relevant field
Key Skills:
• Proficient in the use of NX CAD product suite
• Strong abilities in the use of Teamcenter
• Excellent analytical and diagnostic capabilities to resolve user issues
• Excellent communicator both written and verbal
• Good Windows 7 / 10 administration skills
• Knowledge of ITIL principles to Foundation level
• Ability to work alone or in a team
• Full Driving License
Desirable experience:
While not essential, experience of the following would be an advantage
• Experience of 1st / 2nd line support using a recognised ticketing system
• Microsoft Certification or equivalent industrial qualification
• Experience in other 3D modelling applications (Catia, AutoCad) an advantage
• Knowledge of Windows Server environment (both Windows Server 2008 and 2012)
